Bobby Evridge died Monday, September 23, 2013 at age 64. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Byron Baptist Church, 100 West White Road in Byron with Rev. Brad Blackmon and Rev. Terry Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Family will greet friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Rooks Funeral Home, 109 West White Road in Byron. Born in Montezuma to the late Thomas Vivian Evridge and Velma Hannah Evridge, Mr. Evridge was a farmer and the former owner and operator of Evridge Trailers in Byron. He served in the Georgia Air National Guard from 1968 to 1973. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Harper Evridge, married 12-05-2000; children, Shannon Evridge of Hampton, Virginia, Brooke Kerr (Jason) of Warner Robins, and Lori Thibodeau (Mark) of Lawrenceville; step son, Tony Perez, California; granddaughter, Savannah Lynn Kerr; brothers and sisters in law, Darryl and Cheryl Evridge of Warner Robins, Randy and Judy Evridge of Byron, and Tommy Evridge of Byron; mother in law, Frances Harper of Byron, and several nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, a baby sister, and father in law, Cecil Harper.
