"Manny" or "Manny Eel up on the hill" as he was fondly known, attended the Baltimore City Public Schools System and worked as a Laborer at a Construction Company until a debilitating injury interrupted his career. "Manny" had many interests and he would read any subject to a keen sense. "Manny" loved to share his knowledge on many social levels.
"Manny" accepted The Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was Baptized at The St. Paul Apostolic Church.
"Manny was a king and caring person and would help anyone that needed his helping. While residing in The Flag-House Projects, "Manny loved to swim in the Community Out-Door Pool and play basket-ball up and down the Flag-House Basket-Ball Court. "Manny" enjoyed attending the Roller-Skating Dances, the Card Games and to Shoot Pool at the Flag-House Recreation Center. "Manny" made numerous of friends wherever he went and "Manny" will be sorely missed by all who were privileged to his uniqueness.
On Saturday, July 23,2005, God Silently called our beloved Emmanuel into His Heavenly Home.
Emmanuel leaves to cherish his loving memories: his mother~ Mrs. Kathleen; one son~ Emmanuel Jr.; one grand-son~ Cameron Emmanuel Slow; two sisters~ Mary Louise Bryant and Gwendolyn Bryant-Glover; four brothers~ John Edward Bryant, Nathaniel Bryant, Micheal Bryant and Luther Bryant; two sisters-in-law ~Vivian Bryant and Berta Bryant; a very-very special friends ~Valerie Robinson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
