Obituary
Beikman, Roy J. 81, was born September 14, 1932 in Indiana and died on September 15, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ with his family by his side. He served 4 years in the Navy followed by 17 years in the Air Force including a tour in Vietnam. After retiring as Sr. Master Sgt. he taught high school at Apache Junction and Lake Havasu and was Assistant Principal at Apache Junction. He loved working with the students. He enjoyed traveling, ASU football, camping, hiking and spending time with family. He traveled to Europe, Canada, Australia, Panama Canal, all 50 states and PAC 12 stadiums.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret Beikman, two daughters Michelle Cutler and Melanie Beikman; sons-in-law Joe Cutler and Tom Sharp; grandchildren: Cory Cutler, Christy (Justin) Chrzanowski, Brad Cutler, Cara Cutler, Graydon Sharp, Maya Sharp; great grandson, Easton Chrzanowski; siblings Ed Beikman, Barbara Simrak, and Pat Hamilton. Interment will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85024 at 10:00 a.m. September 25, 2013 followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:30 p.m. at 2072 E. Park Ave., Gilbert, AZ.
