Charlotte Rose ABRAHMS, 87, died at Kent County Hospital Warwick, Rhode Island on April 21, 2012. She lived in Warwick for 6 weeks, previously living in Houston, Texas for 35 years. Prior to Houston, she resided in Swampscott, Massachusetts.

Born October 20, 1924 in Manchester, New Hampshire she was the daughter of Louis and Bertha Zazula GREENFIELD.

She was the wife of Robert E. ABRAHMS for 62 years.

She was the mother of Jill R. SHOLES of Warwick, the grandmother of the late Marc L. SHOLES (Warwick), Adam and Lauren SHOLES (Cranston), Noah and Jaclyn SHOLES (Foxboro) and Hope A. SHOLES (Sturbridge) and the great-grandmother of Madalyn Victoria SHOLES (Cranston). She also leaves a sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Hy LAMB (Sharon), sister-in-law and brother-in-law Fred and Harriet ABRAHMS (Cleveland, Ohio) a brother-in-law, Jonathon Q. ABRAHMS (Hartford), and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Temple Beth Yeshurun in Houston, Texas and a past president of Henrietta Szold Chapter of Hadassah in Houston Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are kindly suggested to The Marc Louis Sholes endowment fund, Temple Am David, 40 Gardiner Street, Warwick, Rhode Island or to Henrietta Szold Chapter of Hadassah, c/o Hadassah Office 4654, Beechnut, Houston, TX 77096 or the charity of your choice.

Funeral Service was held on Monday in the Shalom Memorial Chapel, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston, Rhode Island. Shiva was observed at 130 Port Circle, Warwick, Rhode Island.
