Judah A. Battle (1838) in Liberty,
Nash, North Carolina
He is the father of Martha Battle
(1861)
He is the son of Sophia Parker
per Edgecombe County death certificate, he was buried in Rocky Mount. Cemetery was not specified. Considering his dod, the most logical cemetery would be Unity Cemetery on the Edgecombe side of RM. Northeastern Cemetery (Edgecombe) was opened up shortly after that time. Unity was all but abandoned for several decades with little to no maintenance. It's last burial listed on FaG was in 2007. There has recently begun a cleanup campaign by volunteers and has been adopted by the City of Rocky Mount to be cared for. (March 2022)
