Mrs. Lillie Cross
Funeral services for Mrs. L.C. Cross, who succumbed at the Greenwood-Leflore Hospital, was conducted at the Baptist Tabernacle Church in Winona, at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, July 11, with Rev. Jack Cross, Carthage officiating. Interment was in Hebron Cemetery under the direction of Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cross was born in Carroll County on March 25, 1892. In 1905 she married L.C. Cross who survives her. She was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle Church of Winona.
She leaves besides her husband, two sisters, Lady Ferguson, Poplar Creek and Ada Ferguson, Natchez, and one brother, Jimmie Moorhead, Winona.
Serving as pallbearers were Walter King, W.L. Cross, Johnnie Hambrick, Elber Nix, Alvin Box, and Earnest Moorhead.
