He was a son of the late Henry W. and E. Hope Blocher Crum.
Mr. Crum was employed by the C.H. Musselman Company, and Musselman division, Pet Inc., for 47 years, serving the last 19 years as treasurer of the company and a member of the board of directors. He was also a member of the board of directors of the Biglerville National Bank and the Gettysburg National Bank. Mr. Crum retired on May 31, 1975.
He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Chambersburg; the Good Samaritan Lodge F&AM of Gettysburg, and the Harrisburg Consistory.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Donna Peters Crum, who departed this life in 2000, and is survived by one son, Gary L. Crum of Chambersburg; two grandsons; and two great-grandsons
He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Dale Crum, and his other brother, Paul Crum.
