"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 20, No 45, p 179, Nov. 10, 1864.

In Baltimore, Md., Oct. 28th, 1864, of chronic diarrhea, Thomas Hull, aged 60 years, 4 months, and 12 days. Bro. Hull had for many years been a soldier of the cross of Christ, and a member of the Second Seventh-day Baptist Church of Alfred. During the last four years of his life, he had been evidently growing in grace and ripening for the grave. In January last, he enlisted in the 6th N. Y. Heavy Artillery, and went to Maryland Heights, where he served his country's cause till stricken down by the hand of disease. His associates speak in the highest terms of his Christian spirit and deportment in the camp. And thus he fell, in both the armor of his country and his God. He leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his loss, while he goes to join two companions, children, and multitudes of saints, where death and weeping are never known.
