Peter Agens, aged 50 years and four months, died suddenly last night at his home, 255 Depue Street, Belvidere, from an attack of acute indegestion, Mr. Agens was born at Chester N.J., and was the son of the late Eugene Agens of Stanhope. Mr. Agens was a trainman on the L. & H. railroad for the past 20 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church of Stanhope, Red Men and P.O.S.of A., of Belvidere, Jr.O.U.A.M., of Netcong, Brotherhood of Trainmen and Metropolitan Association of Trainmen.

He is survived by his wife and stepson, Raymond Willever, his mother and four brothers, Harry, Andrew, Charles of Stanhope, and Gene of Waterloo; also by four sisters, Mrs.Robert McConnell, Mrs.Robert Pruden, Mrs.James Johnson of Stanhope and Mrs Jennie Lowery,of MT.Arlington. Funeral services will be held at his home Friday afternoon at 2:30, with Rev. W.C. James, of Vienna, officiating. Interment will be made in the Belvidere Cemetery.
