Mrs. Arbaugh a former grocery store owner died October 13, 2000, at the Newark HealthCare Centre. She was born August 2, 1925 in Newark to the late Herbert E. and Rosa Lea (starkey) Chidester.
She is survived by her husband, Carnie W. Arbaugh, whom she married on September 18, 1946 ;sons Carnie Edward Arbaugh of Reynoldsburg, and James J. Arbaugh of Little Hocking ohio, daughter Jean (Larry) Harris of Newark, brother Paul Chidester of Amsterdam, eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Donald Chidester.
