HIGGINSVILLE Mrs. Philip Agne, died Wednesday at her home near this place. Mrs. Agne was born in the town of Rome on September 4, 1838 and was the daughter of George and Catherine Ament. When (illegible) years old her parents moved to this section. She was educated in the public schools of Verona, and on November 23, 1856, was united in Marriage to Philip Agne, who died about 16 years ago. She was a faithful member of the German Lutheran Church at Churchville. Mrs. Agne is survived by three sons and three daughters. George at home; Philip of Vernon and Michael of Oneida; Mrs. George Ames of Vernon Center, Mrs. Mary Beall of Clockville, Madison County, and Miss Fannie Agne, who lives at home; also one brother, George Ament of Seneca Falls.
