MRS. LEO BRYANT DIES THURSDAY, RITES SATURDAY
Mrs. Leo. V. Bryant of 2018 Missouri Avenue died Thursday at 6:45 a.m. in St. Joseph hospital where she had been a patient since 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Born April 5, 1887 in Keokuk Kathryn Agnes Bryant was the daughter of Peter and Agnes Landman Smith. She was a life resident.
On January 29, 1907 she maried John S. Inman who died July 17, 1946. On August 30, 1952 she married Leo V. Bryant who survives.
She was a member of St. Mary's church, the Altar and Rosary society and the Royal Neighbors.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son Leonard Inman of Keokuk, a daughter, Mrs. Agnes Reilly of Morton, Ill., five step-daughters, Mrs. Carl (Freida) Rose of Louisville, Ky., Mrs. Lester (Mary) Jump of Keokuk, Mrs. Darrell (Eva) Burdette of Keokuk, Mrs. Floyd (Helen) Howard of Montrose and Mrs. Charles (Verna) Mitchell of Alexandria, a step son Ward Bryant of Fort Madison, four grandchildren, threee step grandchildren and great great grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Lucille, a grandson and step-son.
The rosary will be recited tonight at 7:30 in DeJong's Funeral HOme. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's church with burial in Oakland Cemetery.
