"Obituary Notes.
Death of Lewellyn Edwards.
Llewellyn Edwards, a well known resident of Clay township, died on Friday last as his home, near Clay, aged fifty-eight years. A complication of diseases, including Bright's disease, was the cause of his death; he was unable to work all summer, but had only been confined to bed for a week before his death. Besides his wife the following daughters and sons: Emma, wife of H.L. Murr and Kate, wife of Levi Eckert, both of this borough; Rebecca, wife of Harvey Balmer, of Clay; Mabel, wife of Henry Fasnacht, of Brickerville; John, of Hopeland; Paul of near Clay, and Stephen at home. The deceased was a member of the Lutheran church. The funeral was in St.John's Lutheran church, Brickerville, and interment in the adjoining cemetery, Rev M.F. Good,of Schaefferstown, and Rev. S.M. Hummel, of Hopeland, officiated."
