DUNCAN, CASSANDRA OLETA (CASSIE) - age 54, of Powell, passed away Thursday morning at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of Faithway Baptist Church, and was an employee of Kone, Inc.
She lived in New Orleans and Chattanooga for many years, before returning to Knoxville in September 2001. She was a proud member of Halls High School Class of 1966.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Wolever; mother, Dessie Duncan and grandmother, Delsie Jane Duncan.
Survivors grandchildren, Brandon Wolever of Powell, and Sara Beth Wolever of Spring, Texas; parents, George and Vandella Duncan; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Kenn Holder; nephews, Elgin and Clint Weaver, all of Knoxville, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service, 8:00 p.m., Friday, Mynatt's Chapel, Rev. Rick Passmore officiating. Family and friends will meet at Emory Pike American Christian Cemetery, 2:00 p.m., Saturday for interment. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday at Mynatt's.
