Mrs. Magdalena (Margaret Hipple) Baker, widow of Nathaniel Baker, died yesterday at her home, 438 East Strawberry street, of complication of diseases, aged 70 years. She was a daughter of the late Henry and Harriet Hipple of Middletown. She was a member of Faith Reformed church and Star of Bethlehem. The following children survive: Jennie, Clara and Anna, at home, Mrs. Harriet Herr, of this city; Nathan, Percy, and John, of this city; a sister, Mrs. Anna Rohrer, of this city; two brothers, John Hipple of Chester and Perry of Middletown. Funeral will be held from her late home at 7:30 o'clock, with further services at Middletown at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon with interment in the Middletown cemetery.
