FORT WORTH -- Frances L. Bowers, 93, a homemaker, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at a Cleburne care center.

Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Frances L. Bowers was born Jan. 22, 1909, in Dublin, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Crowell "Butch" Bowers; and her daughter, Martha Jean Stricklan.

Survivors: Son, Rex Bowers and wife, Doris, of Cleburne; daughter, Patsy Beren of Broomfield, Colo.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
