SHELBINA, Mo.-Vena Gregory, 78, of Shelbina, died Aug. 30, 2013, in the Salt River Community Care Center, Shelbina. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Shelbina Christian Church. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday in the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home, Shelbina.

Vena Gregory, age 78, of Macon, MO, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013, at the Salt River Community Care Center in Shelbina.
She was born November 16, 1934, in Low Ground, MO, the daughter of David Martin and Goldie Shanklin Partin. She married Wayne Gregory on January 1, 1953, in Low Ground. He survives.
Vena is survived by three sons, Ron Gregory and wife Peggy of Shelbina, Terry Gregory and wife Yvonne of Shelbina, and Kevin Gregory and wife Kathleen of Moberly; five grandchildren, Lisa Schoonover (Nate), Tara Focht (Justin) Eric Gregory (Leigh), Cassandra Milot (Francois) and Victoria Russell (Ben); five great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; twelve step-great-grandchildren; and four step-great great grandchildren; four sisters, Rita McQueen, June Phelps, Dorothy Bell, and her twin sister Lena Yates.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Roy, Marvin and Melvin Partin.
Vena was a member of the Shelbina Christian Church, past president of the Women's Council at Clarence Christian Church, and taught Sunday School for several years. She enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, going to church on Sunday, spending time with her family and playing games with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Visitation was Monday, December 2, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at the Shelbina Christian Church in Shelbina. Bro. Jim Bilbro officiated. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery in Clarence.
Memorials may be made to the Christian Church WAY Youth Group.
