George W. Preston,who is visiting at the home of his son-in-law, Charles A. Reynolds, in the Fifth Ward, was in the Journal office to-day. He was as " happy as a clam," or a basket of them. Mr. Preston was for many years an expert machinist in Corning,and enjoys life now by showing his skill on the violin to his grandchildren and visitors.
