A. THERESA CAVALIERE, 73, of Griffith Drive died yesterday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Angelo R. Cavaliere.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Augustus C. and Jennie (Simonelli) Marsella, she lived in East Providence,Warwick and Miami Beach, Fla., for the past 35 years.

Mrs. Cavaliere attended the former Johnston & Wales College, now Johnson & Wales University. She was an alumna of the Rhode Island School for the Deaf, and was a member of the Rhode Island Deaf Club.

She leaves a son, Louis Gene Cavaliere of Chepachet; two daughters, Marcella Cavaliere Wnuk of Berlin, Conn., and Caroline F. Murgo of Swansea, Mass.; a sister, Lydia Morvillo of Cranston; two brothers, Romolo Marsella of Warwick, Dr. Augustus Marsella, M.D., of Cranston, and 10 grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Ave., Riverside, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue,Riverside. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery in Providence.
