Mary Frances Gerszewski, formerly of Ardoch, ND, died Tuesday, October 19, 2004 in Valley Eldercare Center, Grand Forks.
She was born to Louis and Amelia (Emma Czapiewski) Zolondek on July 1, 1923 in Grand Forks County, Levant Township. Mary attended country school. She was united in marriage to Frank V. Gerszewski on October 16, 1940 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Warsaw, ND. They farmed in the Ardoch, ND area until October 1988 when Frank passed away.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Altar Society, Oslo Legion Auxiliary, Oslo Senior Club, Sacred Heart and Living Rosary. Mary was well known for her vegetable gardens and her canning, especially her dill pickles.
She is survived by her loving family members: Gertrude Gerszewski, St. Louis, MO; John (Mary), Oslo, MN; Joe (Ruth Ann), Ardoch, ND; Raymond (Alana), Mayville, ND; Matthew (Pat), Minot, ND. Her grandchildren include: Patty (Dan) Campbell, Michael (Kari) Gerszewski, Joanne (Mark) Frandolig, Kathleen "Katy" (Chad) Hoverson, Steven Gerszewski, Charlie Gerszewski, Tim Gerszewski, Kevin Gerszewski, Daniel Gerszewski, David Gerszewski, Tom Gerszewski, Jill Gerszewski and Jake Gerszewski. Great-grandchildren include: Megan, Grant & Anna Campbell, Noah & Jacob Gerszewski, Zachary & Michael Frandolig, Hunter & Ben Hoverson. Surviving siblings include: Frank (Sylvia) Zolondek, Minto, ND and Leona (Doug) Misenheimer, San Leandro, CA.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, her parents and siblings: Henry, Sylvester, Chester, Rosie, Richard, Edward, Leonard.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2004 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Warsaw, ND.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service and a 4:30 p.m. rosary service in Gregory J. Norman Funeral Chapel – Norman Funeral Home, S. Washington St. Grand Forks, ND and one hour before the liturgy in the church on Friday.
