OBITUARY from Tyrone Daily Herald November 20, 1973 page 2 - MARIE C. ARBLE - Mrs, Marie C. Arble, formerly of Altoona, who for several years had resided with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Franklin Bayer, 1255 Lincoln ave., died Monday at 7:15 a.m. following an extended illness at the United Presbyterian Home, Hollidaysburg, where she had been admitted 10 days ago. She was born Feb. 12, 1889 at Altoona, the daughter of Michael J. and Mary Jane (Allen) Murphy. She was married May 27, 1913 at Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Altoona, to Robert G. Arble. He died In 1947. She Is survived by her daughter, with whom she resided, a grandson, Robert Bayer, Drexel Hill; a granddaughter, Mrs. C. Allen Johnson, Cincinnati, Ohio, and four grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Stella Shadle, Vera Beach Fla. She was a member of St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church where funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will be made In Calvary Cemetery, Altoona. Friends will be received at the Getz & Searer Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, and on Wednesday until the time of service. There will be a recitation of the Rosary at the funeral home this evening at 8 o'clock.
