MRS. WINNIE HERBOLD DIED WEDNESDAY, AT HOME OF SON HERE
Mrs. Winnie Ella Herbold died Wednesday morning at 1:30 at the residenc eof her son, Louis T. Herbold, 501 Seventh avenue, just 22 days after the death of her late husband, Louis B. Herbold.
Mrs. Herbold was born at Riverton, Iowa, March 10, 1865, and met her late husband first while attending school for the deaf at Council Bluffs. They were married October 21, 1885, and after spending most of their married life on a farm near Newton, came to Marion in 1934. She was a member of the Marion Methodist church.
Surviving are seven sons, 23 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Besides the son in Marion, four sons, Victor P., Wm. E., Walter C., and Fulton S., all reside in Montana, while Charles A. and Russell A. Herbold live in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock from the Yocom chapel, in charge of Dr. A.W. Henke, pastor of the Marion Methodist church. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park.
