Wynona Osborn 82, of Calimesa, CA. passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 7, 2011.

She was born in Tyrone, Oklahoma on May 15, 1929 and married Marion "Ozzie" Osborn on August 16, 1954 in Compton, CA. They made their first home in Garnett, Kansas, eventually moving and settling in Westmorland in 1956.

During her many years in the Imperial Valley she worked for Westmorland Hardware Store and Pioneer's Memorial Hospital, just to name a few. After the death of her husband, she later moved to Carson, CA. to be closer to her brothers and sisters. She found employment with TRW and Todd Shipyards in Long Beach working there for many years until retiring to Howe, Oklahoma. She returned to California after a stroke in 2003, living near her daughters until her recent passing.

She loved dancing, gardening and working around the house, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Being the oldest sibling of 12 she was the cherished and respected matriarch of her entire family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Marion "Ozzie" Osborn; her son, Byron; 2 brothers and 1 sister.

She is survived by her son, Michael Osborn of Booneville, AR.; daughter, Dema Osborn of Yucaipa, CA; daughter, Teana Cochran of Imperial, CA; 5 sisters, 3 brothers, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California on August 13, 2011. She will be laid to rest with her husband "Ozzie" at Riverview Cemetery on Friday, August 26, 2011.
