Robert Hobson Exon, the little 5-year old son of S.S. Exon, while in swimming with his little twin brother and several playmates, in a reservoir on the Exon ranch, had an attack of apoplexy of the heart causing death in a few minutes after taken home. It was reported that the child met his death from drowning which has been proven incorrect. The little fellow was subject to heart trouble. An examination by Dr. Trotter proved there was no water in the lungs and all the symptons pointed to the fact that the child came to his death through heart failure.
