Crystal I. Springer, Neosho, died Aug. 19, 2013 at Medicalodge in Neosho, following a lengthy illness.
Crystal was born June 24, 1926 in Stella, MO, the daughter of Cloyd and Mildred P. (Birkes) Baker.
She was a lifelong area resident; a homemaker and had done volunteer work at the CP Center and at Granby House. She was a member of the Diamond First Baptist Church.
Crystal and Roy Springer were married on Jan. 4, 1943 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1998.
She is survived by a son, Ron Springer and wife, Sandy, Neosho; a grandson, Ryan Springer and wife, Heather, Joplin; a sister in law, Louise Baker, Independence, MO; 2 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a great grandson, Andrew Springer and brother, Winifred ‘Bub' Baker.
