Mrs. Inez Davis, age 90 of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Life Care Center of Copper Basin. She was born on August 4, 1920 to Avery & Pearl Henson in Fannin County, GA. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking & canning. She was a member of Salem #2 Baptist Church. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Early I. Davis, sons; Dorsey Lee Davis, William Douglas Davis, Joseph (Joe) Marvin Davis, Melvin (Mick) Joel Davis and Dennis Howell Davis, brothers, Carmel (Cub) Henson and Hermon Henson.

She is survived by: daughter, Joyce (William) Thomas, daughter, Clara Newberry, son, Doyle (Cathy R.) Davis, daughter, Yvonne (Kenneth) Cochran, daughter, Vickie (Dennis) Bell, son, Deward Leon (Shirley) Davis, sister, Dorothy Garren, sister, Elsie Cross, brother, Lake (Louise) Henson, sister in law, Martha Jane Henson, sister n law, Dorothy Dye Davis, sister in law, Margaret Davis, 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services was held on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 2:00pm with the Rev. Bill Johnson and Rev. Paul Adams officiating. Music was by A.C. Caylor Family and Grady Ray. Pallbearers were; Ricky Davis, Jason Bell, Darrel Davis, Jacob Davis, Josh Snyder & David Snyder. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
