Charles Dean was the paternal grandfather of legendary actor James Dean.

He was married to Emma Dean.

They had two children. Winton Dean, James Dean`s father and Ortense Winslow, James Dean`s aunt.

Looking at stone facing east and seeing road S150E or the same as Main Street in Fairmount which is just maybe one half mile to the south (to the right in photo). They were the grandparents of James B. Dean the famous movie star.
