Graveside services for Minnie M. Barber, 89, of Greenville will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Forest Park Cemetery with Robert Duncan officiating. Mrs. Barber died at Citizens General Hospital Thursday night.
She was born Sept. 29, 1898, in Jonesville, Va., to Mitchell and Martha Williams Sprinkle. She married Walton I. Barber in Greenville on Feb. 21, 1925. She was a Methodist.
Surviving are nieces Juanita Coats of Mesquite, Minnie M. Sandlin of Bedford, Carlene Duncan of Wolfe City, Ann Winters of Greenville and Billie Joe Moore of Campbell, and a sister-in-law, Alma Sprinkle of Greenville. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 15, 1964.
Pallbearers will Be Cart Garrett, Rob Duncan, Chris Clark and Pat McMillan. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of services.
