TROY - Louise A. Haddad, 104, former resident of Marietta, and presently of Troy, Ohio, died at 11:06 p.m. Monday (Aug. 4, 2008) at Heartland of Marietta.

She was born on June 13, 1904, in Worcester, Mass., a daughter of Elias Bacela and Rose Kummer Bacela. Louise had been employed in retail sales by Bonhams and Tiny Town in Marietta. She was a member of Troy First United Methodist Church.

On Aug. 4, 1929, she married Isaac "Ike" Haddad who preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 1961. Louise is survived by two sons, Arthur (Gail) Haddad of Troy and Donald Haddad of Marietta; six grandsons; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Lou Verdi officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of the service.
