OBIT: Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Allen, 89, RR 1, Jonesboro, widow of Eli Allen, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Back Creek Friends Church with the Rev. Edgar Cline in charge.
She died at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at her home following a serious illness of 11 days. She had been ill for two years.
Survivors include four sons, John, RR 1, Jonesboro; Eber and Verlou, Fort Wayne; and Orville, Marion; a daughter, Mrs. Ernest Hawkins, Kokomo; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Park Cemetery. The Hunt's Funeral Home had charge of arrangements
