Baker, Helen Gertrude, 98 of Shadyside, Ohio died Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Shadyside Care Center.

She was born at Fairpoint, Ohio on February 26, 1911 a daughter of the late Elmer G. and Gertrude Graham Shores.

Helen was a homemaker and a Presbyterian by faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cale Baker; a son James Baker; a brother, Walter Glenn Shores and a sister, Virginia Stachyra.

She is survived by her sons, Donald L. Baker and Ronald A. Baker both of St. Clairsville, Ohio; grandchildren, Janet Astle, Eric Baker and Mindi Moore; great grandchildren, Jessica Astle, Alex Baker and Anna Baker.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Eller officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
