Betty Walser Paige, 65, of Arnold Road, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Currytown Baptist Church by Pastor Michael McDaniel. Burial will follow in the Barnes Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.

She was born in Davidson County on Jan. 9, 1948, to George Oscar Walser Jr. and Angeline Barnes Walser. Mrs. Paige worked for the North Carolina Rural Water Co. as an accountant and was a member of the Currytown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father and sister Carolyn Weaver.

She is survived by her mother; husband Johnny R. Paige of the home; two daughters, Wanda and Steve Worley of Lexington and Tammy and Ron Adams of Statesville; two grandchildren, Anna and Emily Worley; brother Doug Walser; two sisters, Jan Bryan and Georgia "Susie" Ballew, all of Lexington; and special friends Glenn and Joye Coley, Lawrence and Roma Lanier and Brian, Angie, Logan and Taylor Hanes.

For those who prefer, memorials may be made to Currytown Missions Fund, 7740 N.C. Highway 150, Lexington, NC 27295.
