I was at the cemetery with a group of his descendants in the 70's at a family reunion. We visited his gravesite near a picnic shed afterwards.
John Hubbs Sr. is buried in this cemetery. His son is in the Hubbs-Hickle cemetery and the Hubbs book states that the the tombstone of the son, John Hubbs Jr., mistakenly says John Hubbs Sr and has the wrong dates (the dates of his father).
We don't know who his first wife was. Her children by him were James and William.
His second wife was Rebecca Woolsey (my ancestor) who was born in New York in 1772. Her children by John were #1 Polly, #2 Stephen, #3 John Jr ,#4 Willis, #5 Joshua, #6 Sarah Sally, #7 Rutha, #8 Rachael.
His 3rd wife was Mary Polly Jones (married Dec 17, 1819)
Her children by John were: #1 Dorcus #2 James #3 Hugh #4 Martin B.∼* Private
