Sandra "Sandy" L. Ashley, age 69 of Holland, Ohio died at home comfortably and peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 19, 1943 in Toledo to Forrest J. and Thelma (Connor) Booth and on July 24, 1987 she married Hobert "Jon" Ashley who preceded her in death on March 6, 2006. Sandy was a former member of Our Lady of Lourdes and she enjoyed bingo, crocheting and skip-bo. Sandy will best be remembered for always having her home opened with a fresh pot of coffee ready and an ear to listen. She loved spending time with family and friends. Sandy will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived...

She is survived by her loving children, Kim (Dave) Lord, James (Kathy Sondergeld) Ulrich Jr., Kelly (Rick) Meek, Joe (Jennifer) Ulrich, Rick (Regina) Ulrich Sr., and Brandi (Bryan) Kayne; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Harold (Nancy) Booth, Tom (Margie) Booth, Jim (Janey) Booth and Mike (Debbie) Booth; sisters, Kathy (Jim) Schultz, Thelma Lipnicky and Connie (Bill) Madden; special friends, Carol Jordon and Charlie Hiser; loyal canine companions, Sonny and Max as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded by her parents, Forrest and Thelma; husband, Jon; brother, Richard Booth; brother-in-law, Paul Lipnicky as well as her nephew, Todd Richard Schultz

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 3-9 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Springfield Township Fire Department. Sandy's family would like to thank all the staff and nurses at Toledo Hospital for all their loving and compassionate care as well as Kristie Winterfeld for all her assistance.
