The wise-cracking, wide-eyed Nebraska farm girl spent 62 years married to Raymond Alexander, most of it in Portland. The Bonneville Power Administration worker was rarely happier than when singing hymns at Trinity Lutheran Church with her choir-veteran voice. She and Ray retired in Las Vegas then returned to Vancouver, where he passed away in 2010.
