Mrs. Eva Amort Drops Dead on Street
Mrs. Eva Amort, 69, resident of Orland for the past twenty years, dropped dead yesterday afternoon on Walker Street in front of the Coffee Cup, adjoining the P.G.& E. office. Death was due to heart failure. Mrs. Amort appeared to be in her usual good health yesterday when she was suddenly stricken. No inquest was held.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 at the Catholic church, Rev. Father Grant in charge of the services.
