6. Denzell R, Mills, born in 1948, killed in Vietnam, October 16, 1967, buried in Newfane, NY. His name appears on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, DC. There is also a bridge named for him and his cousin Larry R. Hatcher on Rt. 19 over the West Virginia Turnpike at Egeria Rd.
"Ducky" was such a wonderful person. When we had family reunions in Egeria every July, she would go around with pots and pans banging them together to wake everyone up. Once she was walking around with a cabbage leaf covering her head, Whenever someone was having a disagreement with someone else, she would hand them each a jug and make them go together down to the spring over the side of the mountain to get water for the campsite. By the time they came back things would be patched up. I miss her laugh and smile.
Ducky had the following siblings:
1. Glady Ruth Walker Agee (1904 - 1981)
2. Loie Lendel Walker (1906 - 1960)
3. Lamer Lynett Walker (1908 - 1963)
