Mary Alice's father Robert and his brother, Eustace married the Turner sisters thus making their children double cousins. Mary's father died 29 November 1943 in Oklahoma City, OK. Her father's Obit appeared in the newspaper on December 1, 1943 in Oklahoma City, OK.
In the 1900 U.S. Census we find the family living in Kiowa Twp., Choctaw Nation, Oklahoma. Later they moved to Oklahoma City, OK and resided at 544 SW 27th St.
Mary Alice's father owned his own grocery store in Oklahoma City until his death.
