DIES IN CRASH
Mrs. Nancy (Malkowski) Lounsberry, 25 years
old, died Saturday as a result of a car
accident on Saginaw Road. The crash
occurred about 12:40 p.m. 1/4 mile east
of Plaine Rd. She was taken to St. Mary's
Hospital in Saginaw where she died at 3 pm.
According to Tuscola Sheriff Deputy Robert
Fox, Mrs, Lounsberry was traveling east on
Saginaw Road. She hit ice, lost control
and skidded into the side of a car driven
by Diane K. Best, 21 years old, of Imlay
City, who was traveling west. Miss Best
said she saw the Lounsberry car go into
the skid and tried to avoid her but was
unable to. Miss Best was not injured. Mrs
Lounsberry's obituary is in this weeks paper

Mrs. Richard (Nancy Karen)Lounsberry, 25,
of Frankenmuth, died Saturday, January
4,1969,at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw,
as a result of injuries suffered in an
auto accident that day.
Nancy Karen Malkowski was born Oct. 31,1943
at Caro, the daughter of Leon and Jean
Malkowski. She married Richard L.Lounsberry
in Marlette on July 16,1966. She was a
graduate of Mayville High School and Central
Michigan University. Mrs. Lounsberry was a
First Grade Teacher at Frankenmuth.
She leaves her husband Richard; her parents
Mr, and Mrs. Leon Malkowski, a sister
Sheryl and brother Danny of Mayville; and
grandparents Mr. and Mrs.Anthony Malkowski
of Cass City.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p. m.,
Tuesday, Jan. 7 at the Marsh Funeral Chapel
in Marlette. Rev. Keith Mead officiated
and burial was at Rich Cemetery, Mayville.
