".... Mr. John G. Fischer, 78 years old... The funeral of Mr. Fischer will take from his home, 225 First street, Brooklyn... Rev. Charles Damer, pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church, will conduct the services, which will be under the auspices of Mt. Vernon Lodge, Knights of Pythias, of which Mr. Fischer was a member. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Fischer is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Stroh, and a granddaughter, who are his only relatives. He was born in Germany, and had lived in Brooklyn more than 50 years. Her was a carpenter."
