Joseph "Joe" Babcock tried to help a pair of men when their vehicle got stuck in the sand near his home east of Kingman AZ. The two strangers murdered Joe and his wife Charlene and stole their pickup truck. Both of those men were executed in Missouri after taking the lives of six people in three states and in Mexico.
