She was a graduate of Wattsburg High School and was formerly employed at Welch Foods in North East as a supervisor starting in 1945 and retiring in 1980. She was a former past president of the Welch Credit Union. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in North East. She enjoyed her card club.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil L. Doolittle (d 11-25-83 age 81); daughters Beverly J. Mattis (d 7/06/1996 age 59) and Margaret Canfield; a grandson Robert Reynolds; a brother Bill Bemis; a sister Mildred Peru (d 2/17/1993 age 76).
She is survived by a daughter Barbara Krebs and husband John of Maple Springs, N.Y. and grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; two step grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Interment Lowville Cemetery.
