Michael Adkins, age 70 passed away July 30, 2013. He was born February 2, 1943 in El Paso, Texas to Jess and Roberta (Gallagher) Adkins. Michael is a Vietnam Veteran and served in the U. S. Navy. Michael was the type of person that put others before himself. His kind and thoughtful actions reached countless lives. He loved everyone dearly and he will truly be missed. Survivors include his wife, Patty Adkins; sons, Tyler Adkins and Dustin Adkins; sister, Kathy Raumaker; his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Tennyson; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. and funeral services will be Monday, August 5, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
