M. June (Simmons) Anderson, of South Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at home. She was a member of Seven Islands Missionary Baptist Church and a Mamaw to everyone.

June was preceded in death by parents, Parlin and Opal Simmons.

Survived by loving and dedicated husband of 56 years, Robert (Bob) Anderson; daughters, Vickie Moyers and Fiancé, Dave Matney; Sandy and husband, Andy Thomas; granddaughter, Felicia Moyers; grandson, Andy Moyers; great-granddaughter, Opal June Moyers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jewel and Harlan Massey, Joy and the late Ken Morgan, Jacqualin Blair, Janet and Gary Reed; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Kay Simmons; sisters-in-law and husbands, Evelyn and Bob Arnold, Betty and Howell Houser, and June and Earl Boling; many nieces and nephews and cousins, all of whom were very special to her.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, March 3, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2011 and leave in procession to Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a 2:30 p.m. graveside service, Rev. Harold Queen officiating.
