Yelvington Overby "Y.O." Burnett, also known by "El", was the son of William F. S. Burnett and Elizabeth Jane Overby Burnett. He is said to have been married several times. Two of his known wives were Louelda "Lula" M. Lackey and Elvira "Vira" Swenney. He married Lula in Illinois in about 1890. He married Vira in Reyno, Randolph County, Arkansas in 1902. He is listed on the 1910 Census as living in Jones, Greene County, Arkansas with wife Vira and several of their children, including hers from a previous marriage. This appears to be his last known location of residence. His exact date of death and where he is buried is unknown. He MAY be buried at the Burnett family cemetery in Greene County, Arkansas however no marker was located for him there and it is not confirmed if he was a member of that Burnett family.
