Mr. Frank O. Giddens, age 83, of Plant City, FL, formerly of Pearson, GA, passed away Wednesday morning, February 15, 2006 at The Health Center of Plant City in Plant City, FL following an extended illness.
A native of Atkinson County, Mr. Giddens was born January 15, 1923, son of Benjamin Franklin "Frank" and Alice Fussell Giddens. He was a retired Meat Market Manager and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Giddens.
Survivors include sister, Ann Thompson of Brunswick, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside funeral services and interment for Mr. Giddens were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2006, at Antioch Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Corbitt officiating. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of arrangements.
