It is with great sadness, that we inform you of the unexpected passing of Senior Federal Air Marshal (FAM) Francisco J. Estrada. Senior FAM Estrada joined the Federal Air Marshal Service in April 2002 protecting the traveling public domestically and internationally for over eleven years. In December 2012, Mr. Estrada earned the Senior FAM designation for his outstanding performance and dedication to service.
Prior to joining the Federal Air Marshal Service, Senior FAM Estrada worked as a Border Patrol Agent with the United States Border Patrol for five years. He served with distinction, receiving numerous citations and certifications.
FAM Estrada earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Inter-American University in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.
