AMARILLO — Jeannie Grigsby, age 62, beloved wife, mother, and friend died Dec. 3, 2011, in Amarillo, Texas.

A Celebration of Life was held Dec. 5, at United Methodist Church in McLean, Texas.

Jeannie was raised in Cascade Locks, Ore., and also spent time in Washington and Hawaii. She moved to McLean, Texas in 2004 and married Jack W. Grigsby in 2005.

She enjoyed sewing, making jewelry and reading.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Dorzab; her father, Frank Warner; her mother, Bonnie Creech and a brother, Norman Warner.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Grigsby; a daughter, Tamara Angel of Long Beach; a stepdaughter, Jaci Grigsby; a son, Jerry Banks; a brother, Butch Warner; and her sisters, Ellen Buffington, Cheryl O'Neil, Audrey Jensen and Judy Hudson.

Schooler Funeral Home in Amarillo is in charge of arrangements.
