The burial of Dr. J. Leonard Aymett who died on Wednesday morning of last week took place at the family burial ground near Pisgah Thursday after funeral services by Arch Deacon J. F. Plummer of Tullahoma and the Rev. O. P. Gentry.

Dr. Aymett was about 48 years of age and was a successful and conscientious physician, who never turned away the unfortunate needing his services, regardless of whether they could ever pay or not. He graduated from the Louisville Medical College and possessed a bright mind which he had improved by extensive reading of classical and current literature.

Dr. Aymett is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Lizzie Aymett, a daughter, Miss Ada and a son, John. Also his father, Dr. Robert E. Aymett, who has been a leading Giles County physician for many years, a sister, Miss Rachel Aymett and two brothers.
