Sarah Rebecca Stice was the fourth child of William Henry Stice and Martha Gregory. She was united in marriage on the 27th day of September 1869 to Samuel Andrew Adkins near Pellonia, Illinois, County of Massac. Children born by this marriage in order of their births are as follows:

I visited Sarah's grave site in 1986 while I was visiting CA. I didn't notice her husband's stone beside her's. She did have a son and dau. in law close by.
